Zwei Jahren nach dem kommerziell erfolgreichen \u201eDefine The Great Line\u201c setzen Underoath ohne Zweifel ein Zeichen f\u00fcr die Kompromisslosigkeit von Metalcore. Das Album ist rau, aggressiv und extrem. Und gerade meint man dieses Monument begriffen zu haben, da schleichen sich Melodien ein, wird die Musik geradezu sanft und eindringlicher Gesang macht sich breit. Eine Oase im Get\u00f6se des Sounds, die mit \u201eThe Created Void\u201c vor einem auftaucht, nur um im n\u00e4chsten Moment wieder zertr\u00fcmmert zu werden. Underoath beweisen wie vielseitig, wie extrem und wie au\u00dfergew\u00f6hnlich sie sein k\u00f6nnen.
